Sip & Shop 2024
Holidays are approaching, believe it or not, and we’re hosting our second Portside Holiday Sip & Shop in Harpers Ferry, IA, on Saturday, November 30, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.. Conveniently, that day is small business Saturday.
Grab your friends, family or anyone who wants to join and make your way because we’ve got something for everyone with over 30 vendors, 3 local restaurants, a food truck, drink options and so much more. See our complete list of vendors below with links to their social media pages (if available).
A few important notes for the event:
📍NEW THIS YEAR: We’ve added an additional location. We’ve gone from 15 vendors last year to over 30 this year - which is incredible, because each and every vendor has something truly incredible to offer.
Portside Event Center: 125 Jefferson Avenue, Harpers Ferry, IA 52146
Harpers Ferry Community Center: 134 N 4th St., Harpers Ferry, IA 52146
🚗We have a large parking lot, but it still gets filled up quick. Be considerate of others, but also remember to stay clear of the gas pumps when parking at Portside Event Center. The locations are a quarter mile apart - a quick walk if it’s warm, but a very quick drive. Parking is available in both locations.
💵We encourage cash. Some vendors will take credit cards, some do not. However, remember, there are always fees associated with using a credit card that sometimes the vendor is forced to pay. Cash is the best form of payment. We do have an ATM in the restaurant and in the gas station.
😋Portside will have their full menu available for you to sit down and eat. Drinks will be available at the bar, with Brickyard Wines & Peach Cart Co.
At the Harpers Ferry Community Center we will be hosting STRKR BBQ for yummy food. Additionally, the St. Pat’s School from Waukon will be there selling hot cider, hot chocolate and more as a fundraiser.
Remember that if you head further into town, Spillway has delicious tenderloins that have been ranked top 5 in IOWA. River Run Pub & Grub has their yummy breakfast to enjoy (open at 7 a.m.).
📸Take photos! We have a photo backdrop set up for you. Tag us on social media or share the photos with us.
🎁Our lovely vendors have donated items and we will be accepting entries for these gifts at BOTH locations. There will be pieces of paper to enter your name, but also a QR Code to accept the entries digitally.
